The Halloween festivities started last night with Richard and I carving these pumpkins. We grew the pumpkins in our garden this year and decided to forego carving the littlest ones and the moldy one. I carved the bat, Richard and I carved the alien together and Richard carved the scary King Pumpkin face. We also made caramel candy apples (in the picture) as part of our tradition.
Saturday, Halloween Day, started with raking leaves and attending my beautiful niece Hailey's baptism, followed by me working for a few hours.
Here's Lyndie in her skeleton onesie (her pre-festivity outfit)
Lyndie came to pick me up at my work and for some trick-or-treating before we came home. All of my patients loved her. She came dressed as a pink leopard seen below in the pictures. Her pink nose and whiskers stayed for quite awhile, but when she got tired and rubbed her face, off they went.
Lyndie also enjoyed visiting her grandparents and a handful of the neighbors closest to us. It was fun to have a house this year and be home for the trick-or-treaters.
