Lazy Thursday

We were pretty tired after an all day trip through Hana so we "slept in" (meaning we got up after 6:00am. We went snorkeling at a place near what they call the "fish bowl" and saw another eel, tons of fish and one giant sleeping turtle.
We then went to big beach which is next to little beach. You don't want to wander over to little beach unless you are looking for a little more excitement because it is clothing optional. So, we stuck to Big beach. The sand was hot and full of the most beautiful little white shells that made the sand sparkle. The ocean was fairly shallow near the shoreline so you would get a beautiful bright jade color mixed with blue as it got deeper.
We went back to the hotel and many people wanted another nap - why would you nap when you're in Maui? So Richard and I went to some small shops just down the road and bought some freshwater pearls at a good deal. I love them.
Richard and I grilled up some dinner outside near the pool and ran into the fact that everyone at the pool was from Utah. There were about 3 different parties there, but how crazy that everyone would be from Utah.
We then went to the beach and walked along, but it was already dark so we didn't stay too long, but the stars were gorgeous and it was great to be out there.
