Buckle up on your way to Hana, the road is narrow, often one land and really windy. We saw so many things on the way I could hardly name them. We saw tons of waterfalls they seemed to just appear out of nowhere. It rained on and off about every 20 minutes and only lasted 5-15 minutes each time. (that's probably why it's so green and there are so many waterfalls) My favorite place was O'heo Gulch where the Seven Sacred pools are. I have wanted to see this ever since the movie IQ came out. No, it's not in the movie, but Meg Ryan mentioned it which led me to look it up and want to go there. The water is such a pretty green color and has waterfall after waterfall after waterfall. If you walk a ways past about 1 mile or so you get to an awesome bamboo forest. It was just thick tall bamboo with only about a 4 foot walkway carved out. Another mile and you get to a beautiful Waimoku falls which is a 400' waterfall and worth it. It was getting late and Richard's dad didn't want to drive in the dark so we actually ran through much of the bamboo forest to get to the waterfall. What a fun day!
